Switch matrix driver IC for all Bally/Williams WPC-89, WPC-S, WPC-95, and Pinball 2000 games (1990-1999 - see game listing below).
Common failure part on the MPU board in most games, especially after short-circuits or over-voltage problems on switch matrix lines. Also a common cause of ground short row error messages in these games.
Replaces Bally/Williams # 5162-12422-00.
Install with 18 pin DIP chip socket (sold separately) to allow easy future removal/replacement.
