Replacement output audio amplifier as used on later-model Bally/Williams WPC-95 A/V (audio/visual) and Stern Pinball SAM system MPU/audio boards (U50 and U51). Rated at 18 watts, 4 ohm load. Features very low harmonic and cross-over distortion. Also features safe operation guaranteed by protection against DC and AC short-circuit between all pins and ground, thermal over-range, load dump voltage surge of up to 40v, and fortuitous open ground.
Replaces Bally/Williams # 5370-13419-00, Stern # 100-5016-20, LM383, and TDA2030A.
