Audio power amplifier IC used on many makes/models of older electronic solid-state (SS) pinball and video games. 5-pin, TO-220 case. Rated at 10 watts, output current capability of up to 3.5 amps, very low harmonic and cross-over distortion. Features safe operation guaranteed by protection against DC and AC short-circuit between all pins and ground, thermal over-range, load dump voltage surge of up to 40v, and fortuitous open ground. Replaces TDA2002 and TDA2003V.
