Spring - Drop Target Reset - Long (Bally):

Replacement long spring used for drop targets on many older Bally and Bally/Midway games from mid-1970s through late 1980s. Coiled section measures 1-1/2-inches long x 1/4-inch diameter. Used with Bally drop target # A-3944.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Bally made 2 different springs under the same SP-100-314 part number- a long spring (this one), and a short spring. The long one (this one) mounts between the drop target and the metal reset link arm at the bottom of the drop target. Not all games used this long spring. Games that did not use the long spring used a short version of this spring which mounted between the drop target and the spring bracket bar mounted halfway up in the drop target assembly. For reference, spring bracket is Bally part # P-1350-9 (item # 11 in 1st illustration below). Reset link is Bally part # P-1973-418 (see 2nd illustration below).

Also replaces long spring version of Midway # 0010-0279-314 and Williams # 10-279-314.
