6-piece kit for replacing obsolete PROM chips IC21, IC22, and IC26 on factory-original L6 or L6A MPU board for Williams Firepower pinball.
The new IC14 ROM chip in this kit replaces your original IC14 chip, as well as PROM chips IC21, IC22, and IC26. These 4 old chips are removed from the board, and the 1 new IC14 chip is installed, along with installation of 2 additional parts, and making some jumper wire connections.
Kit includes the following parts:- IC14 Combo ROM chip
- Custom-modified 16-pin chip socket
- 7408 AND gate chip
- 3 jumper wires
- Installation instructions
This kit requires the following (not included with kit):NOTES:- This kit requires expert level skill/experience with electronic component handling, removal, and installation.
- DO NOT PURCHASE THIS KIT if you are uncomfortable working at a component level with electronics and soldering, or do not have someone with qualified experience who can help you.
