Alley Cats (Williams) U26 Game ROM2 Rev. L-7 (2732 EPROM) (SEE NOTE):

Replacement ROM chip U26 for MPU board, revision L-7. This is a 2732 EPROM chip (24 pins - see note and additional image below). Replaces Williams part # A-5343-1918-1.

Both game ROMs U26 and U27 must be the same revision number, or game may not operate properly.

For Rev. A System 11 MPU boards (System 11A), this ROM chip requires the following jumpers to be set: W1, 3, 5, 7.

For Rev. B System 11 MPU boards (System 11B), this ROM chip requires the following jumpers to be set: W1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18.

NOTE: This is a 24 pin chip that goes in a 28 pin chip socket on the MPU board (location U26). When installing this smaller chip in the socket, the chip must go toward the BACK END of the socket, leaving the first 2 positions empty at the FRONT END (socket locations 1, 2, 28, and 27 will be EMPTY - see additional image below). Failure to install this chip correctly may result in damaging it, in which case you will have to buy a new one.

Chip comes with installation info including a link to online step-by-step instructions (with pictures), and a diagram showing locations of ROM chips in your particular game.
