Gives an overview of mechanisms used in these machines along with photos, diagrams, and descriptions of how they operate. Covers front door assembly, coin hoppers, payout mechanisms & counters, clock & timer units, reel mechanisms & adjustments, handle mechanisms, stepper units, and includes 2 pages of troubleshooting hints.

Also gives a basic overview of electrical terms and definitions, electrical symbols, and basic electrical circuits.

Includes basic schematics (no full/machine-specific schematics are included).

A must-have if you own or are just getting started with one of these classic gaming machines.

Does not include any full schematics for any specific slot machines- this is just a basic introductory overview manual. This is not a step-by-step how-to guide for repair, meaning it will not tell you how to solve specific individual problems that your machine may be having. Instead, it describes how the devices in your machine function, and you then use that information to do your own troubleshooting and repair.
