Small 16-pin surface-mount (SMT) audio digital-to-analog converter IC. SSOP-16 package- measures 4mm wide, 5mm long, 1.5mm tall. Used as chip U16 on Stern Pinball SAM CPU / Sound boards. Common failure part on these games. If your game works and plays, but has no sound at all, chances are this chip has failed.
