High-voltage NPN bipolar transistor, max. ratings 8 amps, 150 volts, 50 watts.
Can substitute for older obsolete SDS-type transistors on earlier Williams games going back to 1977 (with slight modification).
MJE15030 is the NPN companion to the MJE15031 PNP transistor, both of which are in the high voltage circuitry for score display power in many makes/models. Use 2N5401 and MPSA42 for the pre-driver companions to these driver transistors.
Replaces Bally/Williams # 5164-12154-00, Williams # 5A-9057 (with modification), and similar others.
