Type LM323K for use in 5v power supply regulator circuitry. TO-3 case. As used on most all electronic pinball machines from 1977 on up, for the 5vdc logic power supply.
Replaces Bally E-710, Lambda LAS 1405, National LM323K, Fairchild 78H05KC, Stern 25A-LM-323-K, Williams 5250-12634-00 and 5A-9049, 15-50323-001, and others.
If you have high voltage on both sides of your regulator, or have a problem with low 5vdc power, or if your game is intermittently resetting or not starting up, you could have a bad regulator. Replace for a healthy power supply!
HINT: Dont forget to use some heat sink compound on the back of the regulator when installing, to aid in the transfer of heat away from the regulator, to maintain performance and extend component life.
