For most early Bally and Stern electronic solid-state (SS) pinball games with factory original power supply boards (see game listing below).
Not all parts in this kit may work or fit with aftermarket power supply boards.
Fits Bally games 1977-1980 with fuse/rectifier board # AS-2518-18, and Stern games 1977-1985 with fuse/rectifier board # TA-100.
Can also be installed on Bally # AS-2518-49 (1 additional bridge rectifier is supplied, and rectifiers RP1 and RP2 are not included).
Kit includes the following parts:- 3 new rectifiers type VJ248
- 4 diodes # 1N4004
- R1 resistor # RES620-10W (replaces original obsolete 600-ohm resistor)
- R2 resistor # RES25-5W
- R3 resistor # RES100K-1/4W
- New break-away header pins for connectors J1, J2, and J3, # 26-48-1121 (you can cut-to-fit and remove key pins as required).
Instructions included.
Requires moderate-to-expert skills with electronics and circuit board work, component handling, ability to test and ID components and correct pinout of components, circuit board soldering/desoldering, and necessary tools/equipment.
NOTE: This kit does not include ALL parts for the board- just the most commonly-replaced components. If you require any additional parts, they can be ordered separately.
