Pop Bumper Switch Stack Assembly - Dual - Left Mount (Gottlieb):

Dual switch stack assembly for many Gottlieb electro-mechanical (EM) pinball games, mid/late 1970s. Includes detector switch to detect ball hits, and a normally-closed end-of-stroke (EOS) switch which opens when the bumper coil plunger pulls in all the way. Left-hand mounting. Bracket can be reversed for right-hand mounting.

CONFIGURATION: Both switch pairs have a common blade that is connected electrically through the mounting screws to the mounting bracket. Common wire attaches to spoon switch blade (red/white wire in most games). This switch assembly has 2 solder lugs on the detector (spoon) switch contacts, and 1 solder lug on the EOS switch contacts.

COMPATIBILITY: This switch is the later version of # B-8704. The only difference between these two switches (early and late versions) is that the common lug is moved from the top EOS switch blade to the bottom detector switch blade (spoon) on this newer-style switch. By moving your common wire from the top to the bottom lug, you can substitute this switch in place of earlier # B-8704.
