Leaf switch for drop target banks in late Bally electronic solid-state (SS) games (see notes and game listing below).
This style switch mounts on the back of the drop target bank and registers when the target is in the down position.
Includes side lug for mounting of switch diode (select diode option above- ships WITHOUT diode by default).
NOTES:- Proper operation requires correct orientation and installation of diode (see additional image below), and correct connection of wiring with respect to diode polarity. Compare to old/another switch for reference if available (installation instructions are not included). Consult your games wiring diagram for wire colors and proper wire connections. Improper diode installation and/or wiring connections will result in improper operation.
- Most Bally switches originally had a 1N4148 diode on them. We recommend a 1N4004 diode as these have a larger gauge lead which tends to resist breaking better than 1N4148, from vibrations over time. (Switches ordered with diode option will ship with a 1N4004 diode installed.)
- This switch is for drop target banks in later Bally solid-state games (see game listing below).
- This switch mounts on the BACK of the drop target assembly.
- Earlier Bally games take switch # ASE-2911-17 instead, which mounts on the BOTTOM of the assembly.
- Please make sure your game utilizes this style switch before ordering, as electronic parts are not returnable.
- As with any switch, some adjustment may be necessary after installation to ensure proper operation.
