12-oz aerosol spray can of Aervoe brand Clear Acrylic protective clear coat.
Ideal for coating backglasses to repair/preserve artwork (see caution note below). Non-yellowing formula, superior glass retention, and offers more protection than urethane coatings.
We have applied this in our own shop to seal cracking/flaking ink on vintage backglasses and it does an excellent job- a great modern replacement for similar products from the past that are now no longer available, such as Krylon Triple-Thick and Cover Your Glass.
1 to 2 cans will do several coats on most size backglasses. Follow manufacturer instructions on can for application.
CAUTION: After coating your backglass with this product, avoid storing the coated glass in freezing temperatures, as extreme cold will cause the applied product to shrink, and will consequently damage the artwork on your glass.
