New upgraded aftermarket replacement PC board for back of drop targets in some early Williams electronic solid-state (SS) games. Features 2 contact traces for scoring (points) and 2 contact traces for series circuit which tells game when all targets in bank have been knocked down. Replaces Williams # A-7969, A-7969-A, 1B-2001-124, and 1B-2001-124-4.
This new board is custom-configurable via jumpers and diodes for left, right, or middle targets in multi-target banks (2, 3, 4, 5-bank assemblies). Can also be installed in single-bank applications with custom configuration. Configuration and installation instructions are included.
Boards can be ordered pre-configured by selecting options above.
This new aftermarket replacement board features:- Board-mounted switch diodes which eliminate externally-mounted diodes and associated wiring.
- On-board jumpers and diode for series switch (all targets down)- eliminates some external wiring.
- Extra wiring holes to eliminate doubled-up wires and solder connections.
- Wiring holes are spaced for optional installation and 0.156-inch connector header pins (allows you to make connectors that simply plug on to the board, rather than having to solder/desolder every time you remove them).
- Labeling on board to identify wiring/connector points.
Installation instructions are included. Installation requires moderate skills with soldering, wiring, and component handling and ID. Some setting/removing of solder jumpers on boards, and possible addition/removal of diode(s), may be required depending on game you are installing in, and where each board is being installed in the target bank. Includes additional diodes for optional configuration.
NOTE: We STRONGLY recommend using DeOxit anti-oxidant compound on the contacts on this board to increase reliability.
