12-volt motor with drive gear and mounting plate secured to motor case with two small Philips head screws.
For Bigfoot assembly on Williams White Water pinball. Sub-assembly of motor/gearbox assembly # 14-7973 and full Bigfoot assembly # A-15573.
12 volts DC. Counter-clockwise (CCW) operation. Draws approx. 0.10 amps.
Installation Tips:- This part requires 2 spacer washers (approx. 1/8-inch thick) between the gearbox and motor mounting plate to set the motor up/off from the gearbox that it mounts to (not included- recycle your old spacer washers). It is best to stick these to the gearbox with some thick grease to keep them in place when installing the motor/baseplate assembly and 2 screws.
- A small o-ring (not included, but similar to # 545-5850-00 but maybe a bit larger ID) can be set with some grease around the opening to the gearbox to act as a gasket between the gearbox and motor baseplate and help keep dust/dirt out, as well as noise in (runs quieter this way).
- Ensure the drive gear from the motor slips easily into the gearbox and mates with the gear inside (some slight twisting of the motor/baseplate assembly may be necessary to achieve this). If motor drive gear does not mate with gearbox internal gear, motor may jam and not operate.
- Ensure the two mounting screws (not included) screw easily into the gearbox without requiring much force. To not overtighten or you will strip the threads in your gearbox.
- Employ patience, caution, and common sense.
- Never turn gearbox input/output gears/shafts by hand- this can damage internal parts and will void warranty.
Improper installation of this motor will void warranty and make it non-returnable.
