Wedge-base lamp socket and switch holder for newer versions of illuminated pushbutton assemblies, such as Williams # 20-9663-xx and similar. See important note below for more details.
This socket holds a #555 lamp or narrow LED, installs in the back of the pushbutton housing, and also holds the microswitch which is actuated by the pushbutton (lamp and microswitch sold separately).
NOTE: This socket is for the newer style pushbutton housings where the socket TWISTS IN 1/8 turn from behind. Older assemblies have a different socket which pushes and snaps in. Please check your button housing to be sure it is the newer twist-in type before ordering. This socket will not work with the older style housings.
