6808 central processing unit (CPU) chip, as used on many vintage solid-state pinball games including Data East, Sega, Williams System 9 & 11 games, and others. 40 pin chip (20 pins each side). This is the main processing chip, used on boards such as MPU, sound, etc., and controls game operation. Replacement for # 6808P, MC6808P, S6808P, Williams # 5A-9250, and similar others. New aftermarket replacement chip.

Note that some Williams boards that originally used a 6802 CPU chip can also use a 6808 chip. Please verify which chip your board is set up for before ordering, as electronic parts are not returnable.

Use with 40-pin chip socket.
