Ships as 6808P and replaces 6808, MC6808P, S6808P, Williams # 5A-9250, and similar others. Processor chip, 40-pin DIP package. Requires external RAM.
Found in many vintage pinball games (see game listing below) including Data East, Sega, Williams games Level 3 through System 11, and possible others. This is the main processing chip used on boards such as MPU, sound, etc., and is used on MPU boards in early Williams electronic solid-state (SS) games, controlling all game operation.
Note that some Williams boards that use this CPU chip can also use a 6802 chip (6802 has internal RAM). Please verify which chip your board is set up for before ordering, as electronic parts are not returnable.
These chips are game-tested in our shop before shipping, to ensure proper operation.
