Opto emitter/receiver assembly with long leads, as used on clock minute PCB in Bally Twilight Zone pinball, and other late-model Bally/Williams games. Each unit includes built-in infrared LED emitter and infrared receiver, and has 4 leads.

This part can also be used to replace other standard opto emitter/receiver units used elsewhere in many makes/models of games, including the commonly-used # 5490-10159-00. This part comes with diagram showing pinout and polarity to aid in installation. Observe correct polarity when installing- requires proper orientation/installation. Improper installation may damage unit.

NOTE: This is an aftermarket replacement part made by Optek (part # OPB804) and replaces the original Fairchild part # QVE11233.0086 from many decades ago (obsolete) which was originally used by Bally/Williams. Some say that the Optek part is more sensitive and may be falsely triggered by nearby light sources, however in our years of using and selling these optos, we have had no reports back of any problems with them.

Some minor differences in electrical characteristics may be present between this, and the original part, so we do not guarantee operation. Part specifications are listed below:
