For switch matrix and display segment/digit driver circuits in many Williams solid-state games (1977-up) and others.

Replacement for CD4049, CD4049UBCN, and original MC14049 or MC14049B on early Williams solid-state driver boards and display controller boards. Direct replacement for Bally # E00620-0033.

Failed 4049 chips are common causes of inactive/unresponsive switches on some games, and missing or dead digits/segments on display units.

Install with 16-pin chip socket.
