Lamp socket with 3 PC-mount solder lugs on back side of socket.
Lugs are perpendicular to socket, so socket can be mounted horizontally on a PC board.
Replaces original horizontal-mount sockets with 2 or 3 lugs. Replaces Bally/Williams # 24-8805, Data East/Sega/Stern # 077-5207-00, and similar others.
Holds wedge-base bulbs (or LEDs) such as #555, #906, #912, #161, #194, etc.
NOTE: LED INSTALLATION: For wedge base LEDs, it is recommended that the wire leads on the base of the LED be bent outward slightly in order to make better contact with the terminals inside the lamp socket. Example image (click to enlarge):
