Set of 10 terminals. Heavy-duty Trifurcon connector terminal for standard 0.156-inch crimp-pin style housings. This terminal can be crimped to 18-20 AWG stripped wire.
Wire is crimped/soldered to the terminal, and the terminal presses into the back of the connector housing and clicks into place.
Soldering is optional (but recommended in addition to crimping, for best connection).
The Trifurcon terminal is similar to the standard terminal but has two additional tabs on the sides of the terminal which contact the sides of the header pin that the housing plugs on to. So effectively, you get three times the surface contact with the Trifurcon terminal, and that means better, more reliable connections, better current flow, and less heat buildup. Recommended for heavier-current applications such as general illumination light circuits in most pinball games, and heavy-current power supply connnections as well.
These 0.156-inch pins are considered the larger and more common type in pinball games. Fits most makes and models. Also replaces Molex #s 08-50-0185 and 08-52-0113.
