KK type card-edge housing connector pin, for crimp-pin style card-edge housings where the wire is crimped/soldered to the pin, and the pin presses into the back of the connector housing and clicks in place.
Fits both single-sided and double-sided crimp-pin style card-edge housings.
This connector pin can be crimped to stripped wire (18-24 AWG). Soldering is optional (but recommended in addition to crimping, for best connection).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Pins listed here are NOT FOR IDC style card-edge connector housings typically found on later-model games (such as Gottlieb System 3, or possibly some later Williams games that have IDC housings). IDC housings have their pins built-in, and wires are pressed into them perpendicularly from the back side. If you have a bad wire/pin in an IDC style card-edge housing, you will have to buy a whole new IDC housing- the pins listed here will not work for IDC housings.
These pins are commonly found in:- Gottlieb 1- and 2-sided card-edge housings, System 1, System 80
- Gottlieb MPU-to-driver board connector (2-sided connectors), System 1, System 80
- Williams score display connectors in Level 3, 4, and 6 games.
