Easy-install fluorescent tube lamp socket kit for some Sega/Stern games (see game listing below).
Two required per game (one for each end of the lamp).
This kit includes a new lamp socket with pre-installed wire leads and wire nuts for quick/easy connection to existing wires in your game.
Front-mount wires on this new socket avoid contact with the metal mounting bracket (most factory originals had rear-mount wiring which pinched against the metal bracket and risked shorting-out).
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:- Remove your old lamp socket and cut and strip the 2 wires that connect to it (strip wires 3/8-inch).
- Connect each stripped wire to a stripped wire on the new socket using the included wire nuts (there is no polarity so each wire can connect to either wire on the new lamp socket).
- Attach new lamp socket to mounting bracket in your game with original screw and insert lamp.
- Ensure that no wires are pinched or exposed, and that wiring is routed without contacting any other electrical or metal parts.
- Power up and test.
Non-shunted socket. Fits standard T8 or T12 diameter tube. Replaces part #s 077-5214-00, 077-5214-01, 077-5221-00.
NOTES:- Style and brand of this part may vary from original factory parts in your game.
- We recommend replacing holders at both ends of your fluorescent tube at the same time if you want matching holders (same brand and style).
- This replacement holder does not include a mounting screw- re-use your old one, or order part # HWR02-100608.
